Martian Chronicles (1978 miniseries)
This was a well-intentioned but really botched tribute to Ray Bradbury. A confusing mix of inaccurate science and new age babble, it does at least have the intent to reach higher into our imaginations. The fact of this tragedy would make this a good riff.

Reflections of Evil.
After a night out in Hollywood we returned to our vehicle to find this gem of a DVD resting on our windshield. Direct marketing at its finest. This "film" is really too weird for words, represented by the fact that I watched it only once in 2002 and not since. In fact I am not sure it even exists in my collection anymore. I think I had to segregate it because it was weirding out the other DVDs(and I own Bad Taste).

The Legend (or Adventures) of Galgameth
A kids' fantasy movie so busy & so ridiculous it would be a "gift from God" like Werewolf was ;)

ferris bueller
I think it would be great to do a another classic! The movie lends it self many riffable oppturtnities. (i.e. the principal convicted pedophile). and of course jennifer grey's nose job. ;)

Sgt. Kabukiman, NYPD
I don't believe you guys have ever riffed a Troma movie, and this one is enough of a mess to make riffing easy.

How to Pick Up Men
Dr. Elliott Jaffa, a cross between Robert Reed and Alex Trebek, guides very 1980's women through a course on picking up men. His advice includes asking supermarket cashiers "when is the best time to pick up men", suggesting that women seat themselves next to random men at the restaurant, and accosting men on the street to get directions to a place you already know. BMJ would have a field day dissecting his advice. This short can also be significantly condensed for time.

Someone is Watching
I just watched the I'll Be Seeing You riff and it reminded me very much of a 2000 TV movie called Someone is Watching. It's got the leading lady investigating the murder of someone who looks just like her, it's got the creepy stalker (this time he's actually relevant to the plot), it's got the good-looking cop, it's Canadian and, heck, it's even got Margot Kidder! lol I'm starting to wonder how this movie ISN'T a Mary Higgins Clark...
Please riff this cheese-fest of a 'thriller'! I'd love it, especially if Mary Jo and Bridget could cover it!17 votes -
Jackie Brown 1997
Jackie Brown (1997), the third film from director Quentin Tarantino, serves as his subtle homage to Blaxploitation.
Riff Material includes:
- Pam "Foxy Brown" Grier is introduced as titular character Jackie Brown to "Across 110th Street" by Bobby Womack.
- Samuel "Snakes on a Plane" L Jackson wearing long hair and a braided goatee.
- The Trunk scene paired with Strawberry Letter 23 by The Brother Johnson (Makes sense in Context)
- Johnny Cash in a Blaxploitation film? Only from Tarantino.17 votes -
The Father of Juicing
Infomercial about a man with apparently a $300 million Juicing empire from the mid 90s to early 2000s.
Easy Riff material short here.

Tiger Cage 1988
A Yuen-Woo Ping film about Cops vs. Druglords. Not the prequel to Tiger Cage 2 as both films, even Tiger Cage 3, were incorrectly labelled to be sent to rental stores.
The three films' names from Cantonese are: SWAT: Special Dragon Force (Tiger Cage), Money Laundering (Tiger Cage 2), and Coldblooded Shooter (Tiger Cage 3).
Despite this, they're enjoyable B-Movie Hong Kong films.
Tiger Cage has the following: Druglords fighting cops, it's always sunny at funerals, and Donnie Yen.

Desperation (2006)
A film based on a Stephen King book (pause for laughter) about a town in Nevada called Desperation where a psychotic sheriff (Ron Pearlman) is capturing or killing everyone passing through.
Reasons for my riff request:
1. Ron Pearlman chewing scenery like Nick Cage on bath salts.
2. Bizarre dialogue that only a Stephen King mini series could deliver.
3. Comically hamfisted pseudo-religious twaddle that always seems to boil down explanations of what's happening to "because God said so, shut up."
4. A kid escapes jail with a magic bar of glowing green Irish Spring.17 votes -

Moonstalker
1989 horror. Dumb little rip off of Friday the 13th and Halloween. A psychopath kills people at a camp ground. It could definitely use some riffing. https://youtu.be/_QzCbwn8Ano

Shanty Tramp
A great black and white film that take place down south. It's about a promiscuous woman around town, but when the local pastor tries to giver her a hard time around town. It has bad acting, bad dancing, and bad camera work. I'm watching it on Tubi tv.

The Principal (1987)
At the toughest high school in town, the biggest trouble maker is the principal. Staring, According to Jim in ONE of the 80’s fascinations with movies about saving inner city schools.
