  4. Scrooge (1970)

This is a delightful musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic novel "A Christmas Carol". Cold-souled miser Ebenezer Scrooge (Albert Finney) has a change of heart after three spirit visitations on Christmas Eve. Folks might not have had much to sing about in England in 1860, but this musical will make you believe otherwise. Kenneth More's musical number as the Ghost of Christmas Present is especially entertaining. It would be interesting to here your take on it.

  6. Chemical Wedding

Co-written by Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson, this 2008 horror film stars Simon Callow (he of so much better stuff than this that it's almost physically painful) as a university professor possessed by the spirit of Alastair Crowley. Crowley only has a few days to perform an occult ritual that will keep him in this body before his spirit expires forever, a ritual that requires the sacrifice of a red-headed woman. Fortunately, one of the professor's students is a red-headed woman. Unfortunately (for us as much as him) it takes him about half the film's running time to make this realisation.…

  7. The Greatest Showman (2017)

Join the Wolverine and 1/8th of the cast of "High School Musical" for a sloppily choreographed cheesefest of a circus movie! It's actually nothing like what really happened with P.T. Barnum.

  8. How It Ends - Netflix

How It Ends - one of Netflix’s “original content” collection. Released in 2018.

It is an absolutely terribly done movie in the apocalyptic genre. However, there were multitudes of moments I couldn’t help imagining being made hilarious by you folks.
    Cheers!

  9. Making Contact

A shitty sifi/horror movie from the 80s I loved as a kid for some reason.
It's about a kid who's dad dies and all this weird stuff starts happening, like ghost phone calls, psychic powers and its also got an evil puppet and a dollar store R2D2, oh and lots of star wars stuff. It's on YouTube if you wanna waste an hour and a half of your life.

  12. YELLOW BELLIED SUMP SUCKER

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wX59CjRi0wk

It was made during the golden years of instructional videos. Earthy aromas permeate throughout with a slight aftertaste of Shake Hands With Danger. It's for a niche industry that is so impossibly dull that it just can't not be funny. The riffs practically write themselves.

  15. The Suckling (1990)

A young couple goes to a bordello/illegal abortion clinic. The man promises that they’re just there to “talk” to the abortionist/madam, but she is then drugged and given an abortion with a coat hanger. The fetus is flushed down the toilet. Meanwhile, a leaky barrel of toxic waste is in the front yard and getting into the sewers. Said toxic waste gets onto the fetus, thereby creating a classic B horror monster known as, “The Suckling.” From there, it’s approximately 90 minutes of rubber monster suits and sex scenes with manikins. This to go with plenty of terrible acting. Perfect…

  17. The Cutting Edge

Classic cheesy early 90s rom-com starring DB Sweeney about an injured hockey player partnering up with a temperamental figure skater on a quest for Olympic gold. (SPOILER: We never find out if they win or not...)

This is a fun movie on its own, but ripe for riffing: early 90s hair, clothes, and figure skating costumes; bad movement effects to hide the fact that the stars aren't the ones doing the fancy figure skating moves; the starlet's temper tantrums ("toe pick"!), and plenty of other cheesy goofiness!

The movie is silly and absurd but still extremely watchable and enjoyable.

  19. Shocking Dark

Released in Italy in 1989 under the name Terminator 2, this movie is more of a rip-off of Aliens. In fact, it's like Aliens, Terminator, Ghosthouse, and Space Mutiny!

It just saw it's first US release In June 2018 under the current title Shocking Dark.

"In a polluted future Venice researchers work to improve the situation. One day, unknown forces start killing them. A team of soldiers and a couple of civilians is sent to investigate. Soon, they encounter strange murderous creatures."

And the ENDING! It really needs to be seen to be believed!
