  1. King of the Zombies (1941)

During World War 2, a small plane off the south coast of America is low on fuel and blown off course by a storm. Guided by a faint radio signal, they crashland on an island. The passenger, his manservant and the pilot take refuge in a mansion owned by a doctor. The easily-spooked manservant soon becomes convinced the mansion is haunted by zombies and ghosts. Exploring, the 3 find a voodoo ritual in the cellar, where the doctor is trying to acquire war intelligence by transferring personalities into his zombies. But the interruption causes the zombies to turn on their…

  2. The Ghost and the Guest (1943)

A newlywed couple winds up spending their honeymoon night in an old, dark, spooky mansion.
These old dark house mystery movies that run about on hour, are just plain silly fun. A good riffing could only add to this.

  3. The Black Raven (1943)

A group of strangers are brought together in an old, dark house and must contend with two murders and $50,000 in stolen money.
This is not the Roger Corman movie. You have character actor George Zucco, who always looks sinister, and future Frankenstein Glenn Strange in this mystery whodunit. Add 3 riffers to the mix, and that makes for a very entertaining evening.

  5. Demon Wind

The main thing I recall about this movie is the bitchin' vhs box at the video store and then...something about a farm, and...maybe some demonic activity? But, mostly just kids wandering about a farmhouse the production got permission to film at. Reminding one of Fever Lake, or Rock & Roll Nightmare. I think it's fertile riffing grounds.

  7. Horror of the Blood Monsters

Tagline: Soar Through Space to the Vampire Planet. That's about the closest thing you will ever come to making sense in this Al Adamson cut and paste mishmash. John Carradine stops by for a quick cameo. I think that John Carradine was to director Al Adamson as Bela Lugosi was to Ed Wood, a inexpensive Hollywood actor who you write some nonsensical dialog for, and hope that using their name might lend your film some star recognition. The title is the most frightening thing about the whole film. Except for the acting/directing/script and oh okay, the film itself.

  9. Thought for Food

    https://youtu.be/ZrOh2RYP19o

A 1930's ish? 40's? Kroger documentary on how they ensure quality. The link above appears to not be complete, but if you like laboratory drones measuring peach juice, after a morning family squabble, it's for you.

  10. The Lemon Grove Kids Meet the Monsters (1965)

Ray Dennis Steckler, the man who gave us, The Adventures of Rat Phink and Boo Boo, and The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!? Tries his hand at making a Bowery Boys rip off that is beyond silly, but good clean fun. After they made this movie, they realized that they forgot to add a story-line. It really didn't matter anyway.

  13. Hand of Death

A brilliant doctor develops a serum, and after testing it on himself, he is transformed into a scaly beast with superhuman powers, and the ability to destroy anything that he touches. Yeah I know what you're thinking, "This could be the biography of any member sitting in congress today", but I assure you that this is not the case here. Once again John Agar steps up to the horror plate and becomes the monstrosity with the touch of death. This movie needs the gentle but firm touch of riffing that could save lives.

  16. Paddy the Pelican Shorts

Calling these fifties-era, made-for-TV cartoon shorts cheap would be an insult to cheapness.

Apparently, they're based on a character who started out as a puppet on a Chicago-area kids' show. The black-and-white animation looks like a pencil test. The animation is nothing but endless loops over and over. One single man does every voice in the cartoon, and not only does he sound like he did his voice recording in a broom closet, the quality of his acting in general makes Tommy Wiseau sound like Sir Ian McKellen. The dialogue this "actor" is reading sounds as if he lost the…

  17. homicycle

Director Brett Kelly is mad, I've been to several of his plays: My Fair Zombie, Phantom of the Opery (yes, Opery) and he did a hillarious job of Santa Claus and the Martins. I'm sure his movies are just as cheezy.

But any movie that is described as "In a city riddled with corruption, drugs and gangs, a veteran cop is murdered by a vicious kingpin, sparking a brutal crime wave. Only one man can stop the bloodshed - a brutal, motorcycle riding vigilante bent on bloody revenge called HOMICYCLE" has GOT to be good!

I'm Watching Roger Corman's Death Race 2050 on SyFy just now and think it's ripe for a Rifftrax rendition.

  19. The Amityville Theater

Do you long for extended James Nguyen-ian high school teacher minivan driving and parking scenes? Then The Amityville Theater is for YOU! This straight to video release features monotone lines delivered with all the enthusiasm of ordering Chinese food plus the added benefit of nonsensical flashbacks. Oh this one should be riffed and deserves to be!

  20. Attack of the Eye Creatures (1965)

Eye Creatures land on earth. The U.S. Air Force spies on some teens making out in the woods, then tries to prevent word of the Eye Creatures landing from leaking out. A couple of teens figure everything out and prevent the Eye Creatures from taking over by shining their headlights on them... Written by Dan Bleskan
I really liked this Larry Buchanan movie, which is a remake of 'Invasion of the Saucer Men.'
