I can't complete my purchase!

"SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!" you say. "Fine!" we reply. So what's the hold up? Something getting you stuck at check out? That does happen on occasion, and there are usually a few ways to fix it:

  • Make sure your address is correct and current! If you've recently moved, and forgot to change your address with the bank, a payment could fail.
  • Make sure there isn't a typo in your address or zip code! Some banks are picky about this.
  • If the error message you're seeing is related to a card being rejected, it might also be that your card's been blocked from making purchases in California. It's possible that your bank enabled this for anti-fraud reasons - please call your bank and ask!
  • If you're using PayPal, chances are their system is down. NOTE: Some PayPal purchases can take a minute or two to contact our site to notify us of a successful payment. Unfortunately there's nothing to be done about that! *shakes fist at PayPal*
