  1. Romper Room

I think either episodes from the 50s/60s, or the 80s reboot would be perfect for riffing. For such a long-running tv show, it's surprising you don't hear more about it, and I think it's worth bringing it out of retirement.

Plus, if done as a live short, you could do some audience interaction type of stuff. And I'm curious to see if Mike, Kevin, and Bill are Do-Bees or Don't-Bees (well, I'm fairly positive Mike is a Do-Bee anyway).

  2. Something

    1) The title is a lie. NOTHING happens in this movie.

    2) A 'psychological' horror movie that is neither of those things. (My therapist agrees.)

    3) "I just don't have an explanation... for any of this." - A-Frickin'- Men

  7. Journey through stress

    1. This was shown every year in my highschool. I recently found it again and it would absolutely tickle me to see this riffed by the hilarious folks whom I have loved since an early age.

    2. There is a particular scene involving a chili dog where everyone in my high school audience would shout "THROW IT!".

    3. Just watch it! It is delightfully terrible.

  8. Pinwheel

This strange kids show from the late 70s contains a lot of segments that would make perfect riffing material. One in particular is Dressy Sally, which gained a bit of an urban legend reputation.

Did I mention he wants to see his daughter?

  10. Jeremiah Johnson

    "Can ya' riff Redfords, Pilgrim?"
"As many as you bring me."
It's one of my favorites, and I'm surprised my favorite riffers haven't tackled it yet. I suppose there is a lot of movie between dialogue...watch your top knot.

  12. Serenity (2019)

    Hitchcock meets the Matrix.

This Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway psychological thriller is so terribly funny and hokey and convoluted. It has to be witnessed and riffed to bring balance to the world of cinema.

  14. Any old 80s fast-food training video you can get the rights to

There's a lot of great cheesy 80s fast-food training videos out there, like for Wendy's and McDonald's. It's a riff goldmine.

  19. A Quiet Place

This movie isn't 1/10 as smart as it thinks and the silence leaves Twilight sized room for riffs. You're going to have a blast with it.

  20. Suite Dreams

This college makes a feature film every summer. This is the one from 2014.

Suite Dreams is a story of renewed chances and forgotten dreams, centers on Carole Bailey, who expects nothing short of perfection from her daughter and two granddaughters. However, when seemingly ordinary ballet slippers are given to her as a gift, she is given a magical second chance to dance the role of her dreams.
