Paradise Alley
Good Lord, what a forgotten mess this 1978 film is. Sylvester Stallone stars as Cosmo Carboni (I swear I'm not making that name up), who tries to fight his way to the top of the supposedly popular world of underground wrestling in 1946.
- Stallone wrote, directed, and stars in this turkey.
- He also sings the films theme song
- His wrestling name id "Kid Salami," and he wears a neckless of salami sticks around his neck (God help me, it's true).
..and for the most bizarre of reasons, Tom Waits appears in this film!

Hammersmith Is Out (1972)
Slow-witted nut-house orderly Beau Bridges (as William "Billy" C. Breedlove) smells his shirts to determine which to wear, cleans up with breath spray and goes out to the local diner. There, he is fully serviced by beautiful blonde-wigged waitress Elizabeth Taylor (as Jimmie Jean Jackson). The horny pair make plans to run away with criminally insane inmate Richard Burton (as Hammersmith), after Mr. Bridges helps him escape from the asylum. Bridges has made a Faustian deal with Mr. Burton, who is either the devil or a very close associate. With the Burtons on his side, Bridges becomes filthy rich, but…

Nighthawks
Oh, Lord does this film need riffing! Key elements:
-Sylvester Stallone, Rutger Hauer, Billy Dee Williams
-LOTS of needless disco scenes (admittedly, a redundant statement)
-Stallone in drag (yes, dear God, it's horribly true)27 votes -
Transylvania 6-5000
For your riffing consideration: the movie that actors Jeff Goldbloom, Geena Davis, and Michael Richards, and Jeffrey Jones wished never existed! Plus, it features Ed Begley Jr and Norman Fell!
A largely plotless film involving two reporters looking for a scoop at Castle Frankenstein. Supposedly a comedy... it mostly hurts. Please, please, please riff the hell out of this film!

The Girl, The Gold Watch, and Everything
For your consideration... the very poorly-produced 1980 TV movie version of the quite good John D. MacDonald novel. Hapless protagonist Kirby Winter inherits a watch that can temporarily stop time. More and Mindy's Pam Dawber helps him avoid the evil villains trying to steal the watch. My vote would be to bring this out-of-print tv film back as a Rifftrax dvd release.
It stars Robert Hays... 'nuff said?
It's attempts to translate MacDonald's novel into a RomCom are torturous.
There are ample cringe-worthy moments of 1980 gender comedy.

deathmoon
Starring Robert (I'll Make Any Cheesy Horror Movie You Throw At Me) Foxworth, this TV movie from 1978 lurches wonderfully along like a lycanthropic Magum PI. Foxworth plays an overworked man who begins to have unsettling dreams. Taking a vacation to a Hawaiian resort, he discovers that the sins of his ancestors have been passed down to him as a blood curse. Under the full moon, he turns into a werewolf who chews his way through the resort's guests before a final confrontation in a lonely jungle hideaway.
Also with Joe Perry, Charles Said, and Mystie-favorite France Nuyen.

Haunts of the Very Rich
This film would make for a wonderful, riff-filled experience. Several wealthy, yet haunted, people arrive at a strange tropical resort only to find... well, it's supposed to be terror, but sadly, no..not so much. Possibly an a half-hearted attempt to cash in on the anthology horror films from Amicus studios (Tales from the Crypt, Dr. Terror's House of Horrors, etc), this film just fails time after wonderfully awkward time.
Reasons, you ask?:
The cast: Ed Asner (boozy and grumpy), Chloris Leachman (very hip and groovy), Lloyd Bridges (boozy and lecherous), Anne Francis (wasted in this film), Robert Reed (channeling Elmer…

Terror at Lakewood Manor (aka: Ants!)
A wonderfully cheesy 1970's TV movie about... well, ants. One of the most laughable, yet strangely watchable, eco-horror films from that decade. Ants, seeming angered by having their nest dug up by construction workers at a California resort, decide to strike back.
Reasons for riffing this one:
1). Lets start with the cast: Robert Foxworth, Brian Denehey, Myrna Loy, Linda Day George, Suzanne Summers... the list just continues.
2). This seems to be a film a lot more concerned with construction and moving big pieces of machinery around than it is with ants.
3). Wonderful riffing opportunities during the "ant…
