  2. History of HJ Heinz Ketchup

History of J.J Heinz Tomato Ketchup
    https://archive.org/details/76054HeinzKetchup

This is an educational short about tomatoes that will get turned into ketchup with the power of stock footage.

The film's first half is heavy on historical re-enactment where there's no real drama. The second half doesn't real drama either, or men in costumes. But it does have a crop duster and a farmer comparing Heinz to the garden of Eden.

  9. Zone Out

The first film ever written by an AI, starring Thomas Middleditch, is a story about... Well I have no idea because it makes as much sense as a script would make sense when you try to make a 25th century SkyNet out of 21st century parts!

For two guys who played robots and one who got constantly ribbed by them, I can think of no greater honor to the first AI-made script than a ribbing by Mike, Bill, and Kevin. Besides, it can't be worse than a Wiseau script!

    ...right?

  10. "... so I took it!"

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUIwF36NTCI

This public domain short from 1975, produced by Sid Davis for Motorola (whose logo takes on a seizure-inducing calling card), tells the story of a preteen girl who is taken by the allure of shoplifting by her best friend Glenda. Generic 1970s music that sounds like it's trying to imitate an Italian song, sub-par acting from child actors, and the most unidentifiable objects taken from the apparent local K-mart are among the noticeable elements in this Sid Davis short.

  11. Boy Meets Dog

Boy Meets Dog is a short cartoon released by Castle Films. It details a father mistreating his son, and dog, until having a dream that sets him straight. The dream is about how going to college has ruined him, and how Bristol-Myers Co toothpaste will solve all your woes!

It's an insane fever-dream, and I need Rifftrax to share in the insanity.

  12. Ziggy's Gift

This inexplicable Emmy winner needs to be put in its proper place and ravaged with a necessary humbling Riff.

Wil Wheaton and Mikey Neumann indirectly make a great argument why this one needs to burn with the fires of a thousand hypergiant stars.

Watch it unfiltered here. Beware of sentimental toxins when ingesting.

  13. Magic Kingdom Club: Update '94

    https://youtu.be/kACtckmJuxM

We somehow stumbled across these hidden gems on youtube- Magic Kingdom Club was kind of a discount card program for Walt Disney World before they had a vacation club. We looked through all of these, but this one is the most bizarre. Hosted by a VERY spray tanned Aladdin and Valley girl Jasmine, Im not even sure how this made its way to distribution. Might be hard to get the rights for it but we at least wanted to share. A must watch- truly 90's in all its cheesy splendor.

  14. Write On! The TV Ontario TV Shorts

Coming from the bizarre realm of the 70s PBS/GRETA Dimension, I submit to RiffTrax: Write On! The TV Ontario Shorts.

Just as aci attempted to educate on reading with From Left to Right, Write On was basically a series of shorts which was supposed to educate on grammar and punctuation.

This shindig took place within a mythical newspaper building with a cranky editor, and two reporters. One of them known as Jack, was sort of a Walter Mitty type, since some of the shorts would take place in his wild imagination.

Basically it usually had the group in inexplicable situations…

  15. Kid Safe

This video was made in the 1980s and distributed by Triaminic and the American Academy Of Pediatrics. Its goal: to teach kids how to be safe when they're home alone. It was directed by Stuart Gordon, and the "little girl" named Kathy Tudor is played by Andrea Martin, who was 40 years old at the time. If you liked Martin Short playing a ten year-old in "Clifford" or Robin Williams playing a ten year-old in "Jack", this is the educational video for you.

  16. Something Wonderful Happens

Something Wonderful Happens ia a 1957 short by General Electric pushing their "Live Better Electrically" campaign. But the sub plot of the boy Eric and his attraction to Kathy, a woman his mother's age, is downright creepy. https://youtu.be/rSFy2LKzFHk

  17. Don't Be A Victim, BE ALERT!

A safety advice video from 1994. The material is dated and some information can't be used in today's environment due to the advancement of technology. However, there are some parts that are Riff ready thanks in part to some cheesy acting and how its presented and narrated.

    Example:

There's a scene where a woman is watching through a window while a guy tries to get through the backgate. He looks like he's trying to use hedge trimmers to break the gate, but the acting shows that the gate isn't locked to begin with and he's just shaking the door.

    Another…

  18. "care of the hair and nails"

A 1951 short about hygiene featuring, for some reason, a time-traveling 18th-century granny who gets really into children's hair and nails. Available on the YT channel "shaggylocks"

  19. Are Drugs the Answer?

an 18 minute short from around the 70s.
A Teacher who was one of Timothy Leary's disciples (So this short claims) is talking to students (who have expressions ranging from dazed to zoned out on drugs or just plain empty on brains) about drugs.
    It's PERFECT riff-fodder for you!!
