Simon McKay is a genius and inventor with dwarfism who chooses to spend his life as a philanthropist and innovative toymaker dedicated to preserving and protecting innocence. CIC agent Alex Jagger is assigned to protect Simon from the evil forces who wish to use Simon's genius for their own nefarious purposes. They are soon joined by Simon's long time friend, Tillie Russell. 5. Bay Coven (1987)

A woman and her husband move to a little island, but the wife suspects the townspeople are immortal. Though it's not really bad, it has plenty of laughable elements that beg for a riff: Barbara Billingsley (June Cleaver) plays an evil witch, there's a smoky lounge singer, and not to mention weird witch kids. With all that being said, it could use some jokes

  6. The Killing of a Sacred Deer

Holy crap is this movie in desperate need of a riff, I mean...my god. From the riveting dialog about metal watch bands and the almost breathlessly fast pace of the story (breathless because it moves as fast as a corpse covered in cement), to the doctor's fun sexual kink involving his wife pretending to be unconscious under general anesthesia, not to mention the completely deadpan delivery of every line.

Just...just please fix this movie. Please.

  7. Blood Feast

The first all out for movie in the US,a drive-in classic and a guilty pleasure of mine. A maniac and his eyebrows are hacking up women and using the parts to resurrect an Egyptian goddess or some such silliness. Barely over an hour in length with some truly bad acting, an actress is actually reading her lines from the script in one scene

This is Shake Hands With Danger- but for the home! It's from the University of Oklahoma and psychiatrists were consulted and credited on this thing! There's a really put out mother who just isn't finding house work
as exciting as it should be- also there's a clock that's a real See You Next Thursday- ;) I enjoyed it and I hope you guys and gals take a gander at it!

  10. Black shampoo

  12. The Being (1983)

This D-grade horror film stars not one, but THREE Oscar-winning actors (Martin Landau, Dorothy Malone, and Jose Ferrer)! Plus Ruth Buzzi, Kinky Friedman, and Kenny Rogers' ex wife. Yet the lead actor is the talent free Bill Osco, cast because he was the director/producer's husband. Trust me, it's a hoot.

  14. Roger Corman Edgar Allen Poe Movies

Occasionally, you see Corman's Poe cycle on this list. I want to make a push to see the whole series riffed. For clarity, they include:

    • House of Usher
    • Pit and the Pendulum
    • Premature Burial
    • Tales of Terror
    • The Raven
    • The Terror (kind of)
    • The Haunted Palace (also kind of)
    • Masque of the Red Death and
    • Tomb of Ligeia

All of these are prime for riffing and I would probably but each one.

  17. Hawkeye (1988)

Terrible acting, really awkward 4th wall breaking(?!), dog awful fight choreography, atrocious sound recording? What more can you ask for in a very riffable cop buddy movie from the 80s?

  18. Riding with Death and/or Gemini Man (1976)

"Dimwitted, meaty guy foils criminals by turning invisible.
    - Written by Mike Robb"
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075142/combined
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073994/combined

Steven Bochco (creator of The Gemini Man and Riding with ...) was overly fascinated with invisible protagonists these two years with his short lived series, The Invisible Man (1975).

  20. richie rich

He's home alone again... well, it's huge and it has a McDonald's in the house. I'm talking about Macaulay Culkin as Richie Rich.
