      • Rifftrax, Please Riff GODZILLA (2014)

I know this just came out, but this film is horrible. In one way it's actually worse than Matthew Broderick0 1999 showing, because at times it's almost good. Me and a friend couldn't help but mocking the film and had more fun laughing at it's stupidity than enjoying what we came for.

The monsters start to fight several times, but after 10 seconds the film cuts away to show us... people we don't care about. It never really allows us to see the uninterrupted monster fight we all went to see.

        • Jail Bait (1954, Howco Productions, Ed Wood, dir.)

From the producers of the notorious "Mesa Of Lost Women" comes one of Ed Wood's lesser-known stinkburgers, his attempt at film noir. Stars Clancy Malone, Timothy Farrell -- who we all know from "Racket Girls" and "Violent Years" -- the redoubtable Lyle Talbot, a young Steve Reeves, and Wood's main squeeze Delores Fuller.

The son of a famous L.A. plastic surgeon gets mixed up with a local hood, and shoots a night watchman in a robbery; hilarity (of a sort) ensues.

Also features that same jangly, spastic fake flamenco guitar thrashing and piano-stabbing music that was featured in "Mesa Of…

            • Dante's Peak

Harry Dalton (Pierce Brosnan) a vulcanologist and a small town Mayor (Linda Hamilton) race against time trying to save the residents of the sleepy mountain town of Dante's Peak from volcanic destruction. A fun disaster movie with more cheese than lava.

                • Dragonslayer

Attempted to watch 'Dragonslayer' last night. Although the dragon was impressive I was so horrified with the writing, directing and acting that I just skipped to the end to see the dragon. I think their first mistake was casting Peter MacNicol as the "dashing" hero, kept waiting for Viggo to show up. "Everything you are doing is wrong, I want you to know this."

All of the women on the planet Mars have died in an atomic war, except for Martian Princess Marcuzan (Marilyn Hanold). Marcuzan and her right hand man, Dr. Nadir (Lou Cutell), decide they will travel to Earth and steal all of the women on the planet in order to continue the Martian race. The Martians shoot down a space capsule manned by the android Colonel Frank Saunders (Robert Reilly), causing it to crash in Puerto Rico. Mrs. Brisby (Frisby in the original book) is a very shy, timid, and lonely mouse widow whose family is threatened by a premature warm spell, prompting the farmer to start his mowing early, endangering the cinder block she and her family call home. Normally she would simply pack up their things and move to a new spot in the field, but her younger son Timothy is too ill to be moved, forcing her to seek another alternative before it's too late. With the push of her local confidante, the Shrew, and the aid of a clumsy, love lorn crow named…

                                    • Remote Control (1988)

This one deserves riffing basically because the irony of it is the fact the core of the movie actually centers around a bad B-flick which the Rifftrax crew would more likely riff.

Here's the plot, Kevin Dillon (from the updated 'The Blob' and Matt Dillon's bro) plays as a video store clerk, Cosmo (no kidding), who unwittingly stumbles across this alien plot to brainwash people with a '50s film called (surprise, surprise) 'Remote Control.'

(Heck, if the aliens wanted to make people go insane, just have them capture folks into a theater showing nothing but 'Manos' with those 'Norman' shorts.)

This has the boat version of pod racing and paints such a lovely picture of the American South. James Bond!

Ultra dry, largely improvised late '80s New York ensemble drama.

Oh, it also has Christopher Walken dancing with blue aliens.
