  1. The Secret of Pirates Inn (T.V. 1969)

In this late 60's Disney T.V. movie, three incredibly annoying, loud, and somewhat bratty children team up with a creepy old sea captain (who probably just wants to be left alone) to find out who might be wanting to steal pirate treasure that may or may not be hidden in an inn. Yes, it's just as awful as it sounds, and it's actually so bad we couldn't even finish it. Complete with childishly simple riddles (that the children can't solve) and kids doing dangerous things without their parents knowing. So please riff it. The kid actors remind me of kids…

  3. Seconds (1966)

The Rock (that's Hudson, not THE Rock) stars in this B&W sci-fi about a dull man who thinks undergoing an identity change, complete with plastic surgery, will free him from stress. The plot is slightly interesting, but the awful camera angles/shots make it almost unbearable. I suspect the director, John Frankenheimer, was trying to be artsy. It's got an opening credits that would be perfect for an MST - it's swirly close ups of face... including nostrils!!! I could just see Mike (or Joel) and the Bots waving their arms and dodging the screen shouting, "NO!" In addition, there's a…

  4. Cougar (ABC Wekend Special episode)

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0365083/. The Images of the children stuck in their house flooring down the river are still stuck in my mind after all these years. Please Riff this!

  5. Holly & Hal Moose: Our Uplifting Christmas Adventure (2008)

A Christmas movie made by the Build-A-Bear Workshop? How bad could it be?

-The arbitrary skepticism regarding Hal's desire to fly with Santa's reindeer. Santa Claus is clearly shown to exist in this movie, complete with flying reindeer! Why are flying moose more ridiculous than flying reindeer?!

-The major conflict.focuses on a severe snowstorm which threatens to ground Santa's sleigh. Despite the hyperbole from the weather elves that this is the worst storm they've ever seen, not only is the moon still visible, but the storm is shown to be centered entirely around Santa's workshop. They can just walk for…

  6. Len Anthony's Vampires

The movie features a vampire who has grown tired of living forever! What a concept! In an unintentional meta-joke, this movie also feels like it lasts forever. How can an 81 minute flick do this? Simple. Many, many awkward pauses. There's ample time to make jokes, professional jokes, by professional comedy professionals.

It stars Duane Jones, and features a wonderfully cheesey synthpop soundtrack that sounds like a halfway decent Tears For Fears cover band.

  10. Creature with the Blue Hand

One of the sillier German krimi films based on Edgar Wallace. This time Klaus Kinski is twins; one (Dave) was falsely convicted of murder and sent to an asylum, the other (Richard) goes missing the night Klaus-Dave escapes. Therefore, Klaus-Dave pretends to be Klaus-Richard, but the Scotland Yard Inspector figures out the difference. The thing is, when one of the murders is attempted, the Inspector is with Klaus-Dave.

Bottom line, there we are trapped in a house with a killer and the only guy we know ISN'T the killer is Klaus Kinsky. Uh-oh!

Anyway, from there we have a corrupt…

  11. Train Quest

One of the strangest movies I’ve ever seen, Train Quest (2001) is about a model train enthusiast deciding that sharing his passion is a good first date technique. Shockingly, this strategy goes poorly, and he and his date end up swapping places with a toy. The most surprising thing about this movie, however, is that some of the young cast went on to actually be successful actors, with one even being a future Superman...

Fatal Beauty is peak '80's movie. Strong anti-drug message, perhaps Nancy Reagan was just off-camera, reminding everyone to "Just Say No"

  18. cassandra crossing

The Cassandra Crossing was a 1976 Disaster Movie that took place on a Train.
What make it perfect for Rifting?
Well first of all it got O J Simpson as a Priest.
Then it got one of the worst screanplays ever.
And It collection of Name Actors give some worst proformances ever
Add a large collection of 70's wardrobe failures, (One of the Extra in his 30's looks like a Boy Scout.)
But it does have a epic bridge collapse and Train Crash at the end .
