  1. Halloween II the television edition

am surprised no else to my knowledge has suggested this. While watching this last night I thought it would be hilarious if rifftrax did a riff on Halloween 2 (1981) the television edition. This version of Halloween 2 changes whole scenes around and it is hilarious. I couldn't help but sit there and riff on it myself especially since Halloween 2 has always been one of my favorite horror sequels. Believe me this one deserves the same treatment the as the original Halloween. It deserves it. More of the night he came home. Halloween 2's television edition needs the rifftrax…

  3. Bug (2006)

Please don't give this a pass simply because it's director is legendary William Friedkin of The Exorcist (1973) and The French Connection (1971).

This insane pile of puke, blood, crap, and tin-foilery stars Oscar nominated actor, Michael Shannon and Golden Globe nominated, Ashley Judd.

This alleged thriller about mental illness is pretentious and cancerously earnest. The acting and the dialogue is stiff and painfully funny (but unintentionally so).

The characters would make real life conspiracy theorists step back and ask the filmmakers if they're okay and need any social work help as the story involves dangerous delusions, collective psychosis, and…

  4. Scanners

Sci-Fi cult classic with Michael Ironside leading a band of powerful telepaths to try and destroy the world or something. Best known perhaps for its exploding head .gif which is arguably more famous than the movie itself. Come for the crappy lead actor, stay for the Michael Ironside orgasm faces.

  5. Video games Cut scenes

Riffing the cut scenes of big name current video games. From Destiny and Halo to Grand Theft Auto and Assassins Creed. A compilation would be just great I think.

  6. The Crimson Ghost (Cyclotrode "X")

The Crimson Ghost is a 1946 Republic film serial directed by Fred C. Brannon and William Witney with Charles Quigley and Linda Stirling playing the leads. This was Witney's last serial, after a career that left him one of the most praised of all serial directors. The serial was re-released as a six-episode television series in the 1950s and as a television film called Cyclotrode "X" in 1966. In the 1990s The Crimson Ghost was one of only two Republic serials to be colorised.

  7. parole violators

"Miles Long" decides to catch parole violators in the act of committing crimes, on film, so he can can turn them in. Instead what happens is that he gets the crap beat out of him for nearly the entire movie. You can see Red Letter Media's take on it here:

  8. Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)

Though this has been suggested.. twice.. I thought I'd stir up the cauldron and brew up a better description, as well as some reasons upon why this thing should be riffed in the first place...

Many Halloween fans will tell you H3 fits into the Halloween canon as Friday the 13th movies allegedly fit into the Friday the 13th The Series.

Bill: Wait? There was a series about Friday the 13th?

    Yes.

Kevin: Did it have Jason in it?

    No.

Mike: How could you have a Friday the 13th series without Jason Voorhees?

Well, it did have Jason's relation who…

  10. The Meateater (1979)

I've seen some stinkers in my day, but this one takes the hotdog.

Shoe salesman Mitford Webster, unhappy with his mediocre life decides to buy an abandoned movie theater (it's what he's always wanted) and moves his family to the small community where the theater is located, the realtor Mr. Knuckle informs him the former theater owner only showed.....PORNOGRAPHY!....Pornography?
His wife Jan Webster wasn't too keen on the idea from the start, there was some security in being a shoe salesman, his two brats, Ricky Webster the albino skateboarder, and daughter Jeannie Webster who looks a bit like classic film…

  11. Silverwings

    Low budget SciFi

After flying through a mysterious thunderstorm, cocky F-16 pilot Tracer gets thrown back in time to the medieval kingdom of Deo. It is a dark time for the rebellion--err, the people of Deo; the evil Overlord (that's his name) has killed the king and taken over the kingdom, and only Tracer can stop him and help the young Prince Jaznar take his rightful place as king. Halting dialogue, awkward acting, cardboard sets and Renaissance Fair costumes are abundant.

My friends and I discovered this gem shortly after it was first released, and we said from the very…

  14. The Wee Sing Train (1993)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjdwjbgvkSU

A bit of bland fluff meant to keep kids quiet for an hour or so. Two kids are transported into the world of their toy train set via the power of imagination or some crap like that, where they ride the talking train from one public-domain musical number to the next. Along for the ride is Tusky, an elephant who is less of an annoying screw-up than Jar Jar Binks, but not by much. Highlights include a garden of singing vegetables with creepy upper lips, disproportionate dancing paper dolls, and a talking frog who can't speak with the same…

  15. Posse

Mario Van Peebles' 1993 Blaxploitation / Western is ripe for riffing. Mario's outfit rivals Corey Feldman's Michael Jackson-inspired clothing in its silliness. The film features a wooden Mario's dad, Melvin (who deserves better), Big Daddy Kane as a card shark, and a dastardly Blair Underwood. Oh...and Salli Richardson-Whitfield (TV's Eureka) is naked (apologies to her in advance for this request).

  20. Dark Floors

Saw this movie on HBO now.

It's a 2008 horror movie about a group of people who become trapped in a hospital and terrorized by ghosts. It has:

    Bad acting
    Hilariously bad dialogue
    Decent production values
    Takes itself extremely seriously

One look at the "ghosts" is honestly enough to qualify it for a rifftrax. They look like star trek extras. But beyond the cheesy effects it also tries to cram literally every horror trope in existence into one movie, it feels like it was made entirely by a focus group and then outsourced to China.

    I had sign up here…
